Joyce (Gehan) Rudzik

Joyce Eleanor (Gehan) Rudzik, age 78, of Holyoke, passed away at home on Sunday, March 24, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Earlston and Eleanor (Donovan) Gehan and was a graduate of Holyoke High School and Holyoke Community College.  Joyce was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Holyoke. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach in Ogunquit, Maine and spending time with her family. She loved all animals especially dogs. She is survived by her children:  Sharon Woodger and her husband Daniel of Granville, David Rudzik of Holyoke, Michael Rudzik and his wife Jacqueline of Montgomery; six grandchildren:  Sharolee Rudzik, Lauren Rudzik, Cole Woodger, Janita Madramootoo, Nadine Auger, and Neil Madramootoo as well as three great grandchildren, Aiden, Grayson, and Callan.  She also leaves a brother, Kenneth Gehan and his wife Dottie and their daughter Tracy of Virginia. Joyce also leaves her beloved dog, Molly Marie. The family would like to thank Joyces PCA, Jackilene Cruz as well as the VNA team at CareTenders.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 30 at 11:00am in Notre Dame Cemetery, 33 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA.
